Meet Gabriela
Hello!
My name is Gabriela and I am an Emory-trained licensed clinical psychologist in private practice since 2010. I have worked in the Human Services field since 1994. Some of the settings in which I’ve worked include residential psychiatric facilities, the public school system, private clinics, university counseling centers, the federal correctional system, CDC, and private practice. My additional background in public health has allowed me to train first responders in the US, and internationally, on topics related to bioterrorism and disaster mental health and to serve others during natural and man-made disasters.
As a therapist, I work from a strength-based perspective, using an integrative and collaborative approach. I draw upon my experience with psychodynamic and skill-based (cognitive behavioral) therapies to develop a tailored approach that offers you some measure of immediate relief as we work to create the emotional changes that will pave the road for you to emerge as the best version of yourself.
